Lovin' the Instax App

A treat from Mr. J

My darling pup Jelly Bean

My other love, Lady Jane

And the plant from which I am growing my favorite strawberries ever!

(notice Lady in the background)

I've been using the Instax App on my Android--and, obviously, I'm loving it!  It's great because not only does it add the Polaroid effect around the edges of the photo, but after you take your pictures, you can choose which light filter you want.  I'm particularly loving the filters that make my pics look all vintage-y.

More to come (very) soon!

Portrait Seventy-Four

Though Orion and Cassiopeia are just fine,

I make my own constellations

to admire and climb.

Portrait Seventy-Three

We were at Disney all day,

and it looks like we've been in the sun for far too long!

May we have some water for our parched throats,

pleasie?

Portrait Seventy-Two

A curious case of

yellow nose.

Portrait Seventy-One

Moccasins and rain are not friends.

Moccasins and my feet are friends,

and my feet and rain are friends,

though.

The best strawberry I eva ate.

...because I grew it myself,

from my very own strawberry plant.

I feel quite wonderful and accomplished about this,

and I'm going to embrace that,

thank you very much.

some days are just better than others,
